2026/27 Coaching Staff

Head Coach: Carly Ross

Carly Ross has played ringette for over 40 years, enjoying every moment, and achieving much success along the way. She was a part of Team Canada's Senior National Team for 6 cycles, winning 2 golds and 2 silvers as a player, and 2 silvers as an assistant coach. Carly has participated in 19 Canadian Ringette Championships capturing, 9 Golds, 5 Silvers, and two 4th place finishes as a player and 1 gold, 1 silver, and 1 consolation silver as a Coach. She has both played and coached at the Canada Winter games earning Gold and Silver medals. In 2013, Carly was inducted into the Ringette Hall of Fame in the athlete category.


Carly has coached on 27 different ringette teams at a variety of ages and stages.


After 20 years of working as a Labour and Delivery Nurse, she is now a 'Type B' Domestic Engineer, managing a chaotic house with 3 kids, 1 dog, 1 cat, 1 hamster, and a husband.


Away from the rink you can find her at the lake, wake surfing, golfing, or simply laughing and having fun with friends and family.

Head Coach

Head Coach: Alexis Snowdon

Alexis Snowdon loves ringette. She has played this magical sport for over 40 years, experiencing unforgettable moments and making enduring friendships along the way. She was a member of Team Canada's Senior National Team for 6 cycles, winning one gold and two silver medals as an athlete, and 3 silver medals as an assistant coach. As a player, Alexis was a member of Team Alberta, which won gold at CWG in 1995, and participated in 14 Canadian Ringette Championships, capturing 9 gold medals and 5 silver medals. She was named as a first line defensive All Star in 6 of those years, as well as the NRL's Defender of the Year, and was inducted in the Ringette Hall of Fame in the athlete category in 2017. Alexis also participated as a coach and a high performance scout at Canadian Ringette Championships from 2022-2026.


Alexis has experienced much joy coaching her daughters at the AA and community levels for several seasons, and has supported grassroots ringette as a coach, mentor, board member, and technical resource over the years. She has also served on Ringette Canada's High Performance and Hall of Fame Committees, and recently completed training as a Coach Facilitator and Evaluator.


Alexis works as a labour and employment lawyer, and enjoys spending time with her husband Roger and their 3 kids, cheering them on in their academic, artistic, and sporting endeavors. In the off season, she can be found with family and friends, soaking up the Okanagan sunshine.

Head Coach

Assistant Coach: Caleigh Wojcicki

Caleigh Wojcicki has been passionate about ringette for more than 30 years. From her earliest days in the sport to competing and coaching at the highest levels, ringette has provided countless opportunities, lifelong friendships, and unforgettable memories.


As a player, she medalled at six Canadian Ringette Championships, capturing 2 Golds, 2 Silver and 2 Bronze, she was also named as a Defensive Player of the game in the 2009 NRL Final and to the All-star line in U19.


Caleigh has dedicated the past 20 years to giving back to the sport through coaching at the community, club, and National Ringette League levels. She served as an assistant coach with the Edmonton WAM! from 2013-2015 before returning as head coach from 2019-2020, being shut down right before Nationals. She has coached teams at the Canadian Ringette Championships since 2013.


Beyond the rink, Caleigh is passionate about coach development and leadership in sport. She works in professional development for coaches and high school athletic directors across Canada and currently serves as a Coach Mentor with the Canadian Sport Institute, supporting coaches as they continue to grow in their own leadership journeys.


When she isn't at the arena, Caleigh enjoys staying active through recreational flag football, touch football, slo-pitch, volleyball, and skating with her Last Call ringette team. In 2025, she represented Team AB at the National Flag Football Championships. Above all, she enjoys spending time with her husband and their two children, supporting them in all of their adventures both on and off the field/court/gym.

Assistant Coach

Assistant Coach: Katie Zipp

Katie Zipp brings 20 years of playing experience and a passion for mentoring athletes to the coaching staff. Katie was a member of the Edmonton WAM in the National Ringette League for four seasons, earning an NRL Silver Medal in 2022 and an NRL Championship in 2023. She also represented Team Alberta at the 2019 Canada Winter Games.


Katie has coached within the Edmonton Ringette Club for several seasons. She spent four seasons as an Assistant Coach with the U14AA program, served as Head Coach of the U19AA team, and most recently helped lead the U16AA team to Silver Medal finishes at both the Provincial Championships and the Canadian Ringette Championships in 2026. She is passionate about creating a positive, competitive environment where athletes can strengthen their skills, build confidence, and enjoy the game.


Away from the rink, Katie is an elementary school teacher who enjoys golfing, running, travelling, and spending time with her family and friends.

Assistant Coach

Manager: Candace Ketsa

Candace has served as WAManager for the past five years. A retired mathematics teacher, she continues to share her passion for education as the owner of her own math consulting business. She has spent many years at the rink proudly supporting her daughter in ringette and her son in hockey. In her spare time, Candace enjoys wakesurfing and hiking.
